End of Training Week One

Week one is behind me. Finished and took the quiz and everything. They've said this is the easy week and the real work starts on Monday. So, I'm doing homework. Which is ok. Beats doing nothing.

I did go back out and visited Ted and Jean this weekened. Had a great time - met some of the neighbors. Helped Ted work in the basement - which pretty much involved me holding one end of a tape measure while he was doing some figuring. I can do the 'hold the end of the tape' quite well. As a matter of fact I'm excellent at it. So, if anyone ever needs me to hold one end of the tape - I'm your guy.

They are telling us we might be getting information on our first assignment sometime this week. Everyone is lining up for their 'favorite' or 'preferred' locatation - but we all know its a matter of what is needed where. There are some places that I wouldn't mind going, if I have a choice, but at this point I'm just happy to have a job and be working,, so I really don't care where they send me. Sort of an attitude of: "Where ever they send me - that's where I'll be!"

So it's been a quiet and un exciting week. Maybe it will pick up later. I do remember the traffic in this area. Was always bad. It hasn't changed. Wonder why? More homes, apartments, cars, and two lane roads.... Just don't get in a hurry.

I did snow here last Tuesday - that tends to really get things slow. Just like Oklahoma everytime there is a heavy dew traffic slows to a crawl.

Got the comment on the "Action Figures".. have to work on that... I know everyone is going to want one. I'll let you know when I strike up that deal with Mattel!!!
